Class Schedule:   Fall Schedule starts September 8, 2008 and runs for 8 weeks (Mondays are 7 weeks)
Still a few spots availalbe Most classes are 55 minutes in length
Class size maximum 10 per class. Class may be cancelled or start at another date if not enough participants.
Missed classes to be made up within the session. Please call studio for availability of space.
Studio Equipment: Foam Rollers, fitness circle, bands, playball and Pilates balls.

Action Pilates  ( all levels)

Work your total body with the focus on different body parts every week. Abs-Hips-Thighs-Arms-Back-Balance. Designed to target the muscles used for the gardener, golfer, dancer, rower, runner and anyone interested in remaining active in life.   Using the ball, bands, and other specialized Pilates Equipment.

Fundamental (Beginner)

Learning to initiate the core muscles using the Pilates principles. Guaranteed to increase strength, freedom of movement, improve alignment balance and body awareness.

Integration (advanced)

An athletic workout for the fitness enthusiast. Challenge the mind and body as one.

Total Conditioning (intermediate +)

Using stability balls, foam rollers, therabands™, weighted balls and the Pilates Fit-Circle™, this workout will energize and tone your entire body.

Balanced Body (all levels)

Strengthen and realign. Focus is on abdominal and back muscles leading to increased core strength and stability making this a challenging, well-balanced workout to tone the entire body.

Pre Natal Pilates

Safe exercises designed for the mother to be. A built in relaxation time for your well being. Classes are designed to improve posture, reduce neck, back and shoulder pain, while increasing strength in your pelvic floor and/or getting you ready for childbirth.

Mommy and Me (Babies to 12 months welcome)
Designed for the new mother to learn the skills to strengthen your low back and your abdominals . Enjoy a class with your baby and other new mothers.

**Balance & Co-ordination in Standing and Walking

(8 week series done in your centre) Re-discover your innate ability to make standing and walking easier and more pleasurable. Make your workout safe. The workshop focuses on balance at the muscular, neurological and skeletal levels. Great for all.

ATM Feldenkrais (R)

Develop consciousness of your body and how it works. Focus is on the connection between your neurological system and how to move, think and feel better. Great for anyone with Neurological concerns, flexibility concerns and just want to take yourself to the best in your sport. One of the best kept secrets of elite athletes, musicians and great thinkers!

Soothing Stretch Yoga with Joy Bain. 

The best whole-body stretches culled from dance and yoga to increase mobility and release stress.

Easy Swing Golf (can be done at the golf course)

Designed for the advanced to novice golfer. Improve flexiblity to increase club head speed and core strength to crush the ball as straight as an arrow!
Improve the 7 stages of the golf swing: address, takeaway, at the top, the downswing, impact, follow through and the finish. You will learn how to use differentiation, flowing and fluid movements to improve your game and release stain and stress in the low back, neck and shoulders. How to keep golfing for your life time!

**Running, a Whole Body Experience
(8 week series done in your club setting)
Addressing lengthening tight muscles, stregthening the loose muscles,getting more movement in the pelvic and shoulder girdles, and creating more strength and mobility.

Total Body (all levels)
Work a different body part every week. Making your golf game, gardening, walking, playing with grand children and children, skiing, snowboarding, running and other lesure activities more enjoyable.

**TMJD (1 Saturday per month for 4 months)
Many of us hold a lot of tension in our jaw muscles, even to the point of grinding our teeth causing severe pain. Learn how to release habitual tension in your jaw. Cost $100

**Find your Perfect Posture 6 week series done on site.
Learn how to find when you are using your body in optimal performance. No stress or strain on muscles. Stand tall and feel your weight through your bones from your feet to your head! Cost $120 + GST
