Back pain is often slow to diminish and can return with the smallest of exertions. In addition, most people have great limitations in the way they move and use their back, even when free of pain. Through innovative movement lessons, this workshop will quickly and easily improve your quality of life.
Exercise: Improve Balance and strengthen the pelvic floor muschles.
Stand with your heels together, toes apart. Keep the heels together as you come up on your toes. Think of a string from your heels to your head.
Slowly bend your knees while you keep the length in your spine.
Lower your heels to the floor then straighten the legs. Heels remain together the whole time. Repeat 3 x.
Reverse: Start with your heels together and on the floor, toes apart. Bend the knees and lift the heels off the floor, keeping the heels together. Straighten the legs then place the heels back on the floor. Remember to keep the spine long and shoulders soft. Repeat 3 x.
